Australian Indigenous
Mentoring Experience

IMAGI-NATION
IMAGI-NATION{TV} is for marginalised kids across the earth’s surface to have a daily mentor in their lives. It takes the magic of AIME’s Imagination Factory to laptops, phones, and homes across the world. This is a show for those kids sitting at the back of the classroom, delivering the message that we see them, that there are a multitude of kids just like them ready to rise up, and that this is their moment to lead. And today, it’s about those with knowledge and experience gathering together in one moment so we are not alone, so that we move through tough times and great times with a sense of connectedness. To start our audience is 40+ universities, 300+ schools, 8,000 marginalised kids, across 6 countries who are currently involved in AIME’s Imagination Factory, and a world of people looking to make sense of today in order to imagine tomorrow.
IMAGI-NATION Studios - Animating Stories for Change
Today we are really excited to share with you a new offering from AIME and the IMAGI-NATION network. We are opening up IMAGI-NATION Studios for organisations in the nonprofit and impact space that are working on creating change for good for the world.
We have 20+ years of animating the un-animated. Of imagining the un-imagined. Of un-learning and re-patterning. 20+ years of experience bringing complexity into form. And now we want to help others do the same.
Feature Film
Animation support on feature length projects and ways to take archived knowledge and animate it like we did with IMAGINE film. Who wants to work on IMAGINE 2?
2010 Mentor Recruitment Film for University mentors - this style of film would go on to see AIME recruit over 10000 volunteer university students across 3 continents
2016 Global Launch film - COGS - would help AIME grow to over 52 countries, create knowledge tools like IMAGINE Film and create the global network IMAGI-NATION
Educational Program Development
We created over 200+ individual mentoring lesson plans all anchored with video knowledge, and the spine of that curriculum helped close a 40% educational gap for 25000 Indigenous kids and see thousands finish school and head into university at the same rate as every Australian kid. More recently we’ve created educational material at a university & global leadership level for IMAGI-NATION University with over 150 individual mini courses training demographics from school age students through to Indigenous leaders to corporate leaders with The Professors as the anchor. Amongst other animation options - we can explore creating custom Professors for your organisation and animating your knowledge into more accessible forms.
Impact Translation
We think if the world is going to change we have to be able to change what impact measurement looks like and get the externalities and offsets centred - we have to eventually centre nature, love, peace, joy, kindness, hope into our balance sheets and national economies. We can help with animating imaginative measurement patterns and bring actualisation to the unknown.
Message Stick Impact Tool
This is a JOY Corp reporting tool that AIME uses as the worlds first Joy Corp to keep track of the relations in play and to try and understand the energy around this impact. The Message stick was created by Tyson Yunkaporta and the Indigenous knowledge systems labs and then animated by IMAGI-NATION Studios into a realm where it can sit in context.
